Finished quilt: Tectonic
Every now and then I’ll create a design and then hoard it for a bit while I decide if I want to make it myself. Sometimes I do (see Sunday sketch #441 / Moonshot, or #432, for example), and sometimes I don’t (too many to count!). This time I did 🙂 Meet Tectonic.
Sunday sketch #475
This week’s sketch makes use of zig-zag edges to give the impression that adjacent blocks are slotting into each other. I’ve used that effect before, but I think this is the best example! It’s definitely my favourite, anyway.
Sunday sketch #456
More square-based sawtooth stars this week. Well, one star, lots of designs. The main block is the same as that in Sunday sketch #454 (from 2 weeks ago), but I’ve added some sashing with another connecting shape to create a bunch of variations.
