About

Hi and welcome to Geometriquilt!

This blog combines a few of my favorite things — geometry and quilts.

Although I loved mathematics in school, I somehow ended up studying biology in university. Science has dominated my (work) life ever since.

After dabbling in a few different crafts over the years, I finally bought a sewing machine in 2014. Since then, I’ve been trying to learn as much as I can about designing and making my own quilts. I’ve been inspired by so many other quilters — here in Australia and around the world — who combine this traditional craft with modern designs and fabrics. This blog is my attempt to record my progress!

You can also find me on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

Thanks for reading!

Cheers,

Caroline

    Hi Caroline,

I really enjoy your IG feed…as an engineer and quilter I share your love of geometry.
How do you feel about people actually making the designs you create? One is exactly what I want to do with some fabric that has been waiting for just the right project.
If/when I finish the quilt, if I give you credit for the design, would that be amenable to you?

    Thank you for your time,
    Julie
