Sunday sketch #420
Another two-colour design this week, this time using a spiky block whose shape changes depending on colour placement.

Last week I tried a new-to-me quilt block: triangular log cabins (basically concentric triangles of alternating colours). That little experiment sent me down a rabbit hole of other log cabin shapes. So this week it’s quarter-circles!
When I first imagined this week’s sketch, I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I do. I had an idea of how a single block would look, but I hadn’t really considered how it would interact with adjacent blocks. There’s so much movement and energy!
