It’s been a few weeks since I’ve used any curves in a Sunday sketch, so here’s a design with twice the curves to make up for it.

I’ve used half-circles and half-ovals to create elongated clamshell shapes with what look like hoods. I can’t help but see a crowd of people looking this way and that. Continue reading

Sunday sketch #392

It’s the last Sunday sketch of 2023! Thank you so much for following along with my design adventures this year. I hope the new year brings you lots of happiness, health and quilty inspiration!

I’m still on a curvy kick this week, but these designs aren’t related to the last few Sunday sketches. They’re also a bit simpler. A bit of a calm and restful end to the year!

Sunday sketch #391

I am inordinately pleased with this week’s sketch. Sometimes I don’t love a Sunday sketch, or I’ll like it but not love it, and other times I’ll be absolutely smitten. This week’s sketch just pleases me in a way I can’t quite describe. It just feels ‘right’, if that makes any sense.
