I’ve been thinking about this recent series of designs as views through a window, but it’s also a bit like looking through latticework to see an object sitting behind.

Just when you thought the translation of a design into a quilt pattern couldn’t get any easier — this one needs only rectangles. No diagonal seams, no triangles. Just rectangles. How easy is that?!
